JBRF Professional ListServs

The professional listservs are the first online forums open to professionals around the world who treat or supervise the treatment of children and adolescents diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The board of JBRF envisions that this rapid peer consultation service for those on the front lines will provide an efficient vehicle for members to learn and communicate about clinical experience, differential diagnosis, treatment outcomes, and adverse effects to medications.

An online library search service will be available to supplement ongoing discussions and provide clinicians with the latest information on new developments in the field.

Directly linked to the development of this resource, the foundation plans to establish a referral network for families who are looking for guidance in finding a specialist in their local area.

Additionally, the professional listservs will also serve as a referral network for JBRF-sponsored research studies.

Moderators for the Physicians’ Listserv: Demitri F. Papolos, M.D. and Gianni Faedda, M.D.

Moderators for the Psychologists’, Neuropsychologists’, and Therapists’ Listserv: David J. Miklowitz, Ph.D., Mary Fristad, Ph. D., Nancy Austin, Psy.D., Dana Luck, Ph.D., Johnine Cummings, M.S.W.

Professionals interested in receiving further information about membership in the listservs please contact list-admin@jbrf.org.
